Senior Management Accountant (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, based in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Australian Standard Time.

Salary: PHP 120,000–190,000 per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and statutory finance obligations.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, project-level, and executive performance reports with variance analysis and recommendations.
• Lead quarterly forecasting across revenue, costs, resources, and cash, maintaining rolling 12-month and 24-month forecast models.
• Build revenue, cost, resource, and growth-planning models for projects, contracts, tenders, capital allocation, and strategic decisions.
• Manage project accounting, job costing, WIP schedules, margin analysis, progress billing, claims, variations, and working capital.
• Own the Procore–Xero integration, including configuration, troubleshooting, data governance, discrepancy resolution, and user support.

Requirements

• CPA or CA qualification, or an equivalent international qualification.
• 7–12 years of management accounting experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure, energy, or project-based businesses.
• At least 3 years of experience using Xero, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with quarterly and annual revenue, cost, and resource forecasting; project accounting; job costing; WIP management; margin analysis; and progress billing.
• Experience producing board-level or executive reports, supporting strategic planning, and building financial models for business decisions.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, including clear communication with Australian leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy infrastructure, renewables, EPC/D&C, construction, engineering, or other project-based environments.
• Familiarity with EPC/D&C contracts and progress claim processes.
• Experience building finance systems in a startup or scale-up, or implementing or migrating financial systems.
• Experience supporting an Australian business in an offshore or remote finance role.
