PeopleSoft Middleware Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate enterprise integrations between PeopleSoft applications, internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Develop and manage Integration Broker service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.
• Design and develop REST and SOAP web services using PeopleSoft.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable integration solutions with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
• Support PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, troubleshooting, and production reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker; 6+ years of overall experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Knowledge of WS-Security, OAuth2, SQL, and the PeopleSoft data model.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns, CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft, and API management concepts.
