TL;DR
Automation & AI Engineer (Process Automation/Generative AI): Designing, building, testing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions for Global Trade Services with an accent on workflow automation, AI-powered document processing, and operational efficiency. Focus on translating business requirements into automation and AI solutions, building copilots and decision-support tools, and establishing reusable automation standards across European operations.
Location: Hybrid role based at one of the listed offices in Portugal, Ireland, Poland, Belgium, Spain, or the United Kingdom; willingness to travel within Europe approximately 25% is required.

What you will do
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for workflow, intelligent automation, and AI-powered improvements.
- Design, build, test, and deploy automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
- Use low-code, no-code, RPA, artificial intelligence, generative AI, and intelligent document processing technologies.
- Support AI-powered copilots, virtual assistants, and decision-support solutions.
- Collaborate with customs experts, operations, product owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders through workshops and discovery sessions.
- Contribute to automation standards, governance, best practices, and reusable solution frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Technology, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience designing and implementing process automation solutions in a business environment.
- Knowledge of workflow automation, business process management, or intelligent automation technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, RPA solutions, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, process improvement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal, and willingness to travel within Europe approximately 25%.
Nice to have
- Experience with generative AI, large language models, AI-powered automation, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, or similar Microsoft technologies.
- Basic programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, customs clearance, supply chain, or international trade.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
