Technical Service Specialist (Diagnostics)

Location: Remote from Moscow, Russia; occasional customer-site work and approximately 15% travel required.

What you will do

• Provide phone and on-site technical support for Abbott Diagnostics customers.
• Respond to field service calls, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and coordinate repairs.
• Complete instrument upgrades, service reports, quality tasks, and customer documentation on time.
• Maintain accurate spare-parts inventory and minimize unnecessary parts usage.
• Collaborate with customer service, technical applications, sales, and global service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining instruments, preferably laboratory equipment.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher required.
• Ability to prioritize field repairs, resolve complex customer issues, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance technical expertise with customer-facing communication skills.
