Azure Architect

Location: Remote, with the first week of employment onsite Monday through Friday for team collaboration. Preferred candidate locations: New York, Philadelphia, and Alpharetta, Georgia.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design for Azure and Azure Government initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across complex client engagements and multiple projects.
• Design scalable, reliable, secure, and reusable cloud-based products, services, and microservices.
• Create solution overviews, infrastructure designs, cost estimates, and optimized delivery plans.
• Architect and implement AI-enabled bots, agents, automation solutions, and AI-based products in Azure Government environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements and standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced Azure and Azure Government architecture knowledge, including gateways, firewalls, containers, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing Microsoft-centric solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
• Experience with claims-based authentication, MFA, JIT, RBAC, configuration management, and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, security, performance, scalability, reliability, and availability architecture.
• Experience designing distributed, multi-geography, multi-tier services and data movement and transformation solutions.
• Experience architecting secure AI solutions using Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI Service where approved, retrieval-augmented generation, secure API integration, governed data access, and responsible AI practices.

Nice to have

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Rackspace, VMware, or OpenStack alongside Azure.
