What you will do
- Underwrite Employee Compensation business within approved plans, underwriting standards, delegated authority, and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assess new business and renewal risks, including pricing, terms, and conditions, to support sustainable portfolio growth.
- Manage relationships with brokers, intermediaries, corporate clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to portfolio planning, renewal retention, new business development, and overall performance.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, emerging risks, regulatory considerations, and product developments.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting while following governance, internal control, audit, and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in Employee Compensation underwriting or a related insurance discipline.
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, pricing, and policy terms relevant to Employee Compensation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to use underwriting systems, pricing tools, and data insights for decision-making.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and relevant underwriting or business systems.

- Established relationships with brokers, intermediaries, or corporate clients.
- Awareness of market conditions, emerging risks, and regulatory developments affecting the business.
