Principal Auditor (Insurance)

What you will do

• Deliver local regulatory audits end-to-end for hirify.global's China operations.
• Identify control weaknesses and process gaps, then develop pragmatic recommendations.
• Support regulatory deliverables and ensure compliance with Chinese insurance requirements and internal standards.
• Assess risks, define audit scope and priorities, and test control effectiveness using data analytics.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships while maintaining audit independence and communicating complex findings clearly.
• Contribute to Group Internal Audit initiatives, projects, and continuous improvements in audit practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in external or internal audit, or another assurance function, in the financial industry.
• Solid knowledge of the reinsurance or insurance business, governance frameworks, risk landscapes, and control environments.
• Good understanding of Chinese insurance regulations and their application in audit contexts.
• Business-level English and Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills, written and spoken.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• University degree in finance, accounting, business, law, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CIA is preferred.

• IT audit experience.
• Experience with data analytics and AI tools for audit efficiency and insight.
