Control Mechanic

Location: On-site at 113 Plainfield Pike, Plainfield, Connecticut 06374

Pay: $35–$40 per hour; new hires receive a $5,000 bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain and monitor automated warehouse conveyors and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Work with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities, and Operations to keep equipment running effectively.
• Support parts management and remote troubleshooting activities.
• Apply hands-on expertise across a range of material handling systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school education is preferred.
• At least 2 years of warehouse maintenance-related experience.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with experience using PC and/or PLC control packages.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and train others.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year to support projects at hirify.global branches across North America.
