Staff Fullstack Engineer (AI Fintech SaaS)

Location: Fully remote; primary location Canada, with US and LATAM candidates also welcome

Salary: $185,000–$240,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Partner with executive leadership and engineering teammates to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
• Design, develop, and own complex software features and platform components end to end.
• Deliver robust, scalable, and thoroughly tested code across the frontend and backend.
• Shape platform architecture, technical direction, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations to continuously improve the product.
• Mentor engineers and help establish a high-performing engineering culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
• Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Solid React experience, with willingness to work frontend-heavy when appropriate.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including scalable cloud service architecture and operations.
• Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas at scale.
• Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing discipline, plus experience leading architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.
