Product Owner III - Hybrid (Aerospace)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; hybrid work. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $102,000–$171,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Own, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate business features and complex technical solutions into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, customers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features.
• Guide Agile teams through PI planning, sprint objectives, backlog refinement, system demos, and continuous delivery.
• Track progress, KPIs, and metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Apply customer-centric and design thinking approaches to deliver desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, or another technical STEM field, or 9 years of relevant engineering product development delivery experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of moderate-to-complex project management or product development delivery experience, including complex systems in aerospace or product roadmap ownership.
• Agile certification such as CSM, CSPO, APM, or SSM.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience breaking down complex solutions into achievable goals and user stories, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence.

• Inflight entertainment experience.
• Avionics experience and knowledge of inflight entertainment customers and competition.
