Embedded Engineer (AI) (Web Scraping/Node.js): Building and maintaining high-volume web extraction infrastructure that processes millions of pages daily, with an accent on scraper reliability, data quality, and real-time monitoring. Focus on debugging production scraping scripts, deploying new extractors, validating datasets, and collaborating with AI agents to resolve capability gaps.
Location: Fully remote and open to any time zone; 8+ hours per day with meaningful overlap during US business hours. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Monitor and triage broken scrapers and data quality alerts to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Build and deploy web scraping scripts for sites requiring data extraction.
- Validate scraped data and investigate accuracy discrepancies.
- Create real-time dashboards for scraped data monitoring.
- Collaborate with AI agents to address capability gaps and improve existing scripts.
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional experience building or maintaining web scraping solutions.
- 1+ year of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Puppeteer or similar browser automation libraries.
- Experience debugging and fixing broken scraping scripts in production.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, GCP or equivalent cloud infrastructure, Bash, and Git.
- Experience validating data quality and accuracy in extracted datasets, with strong async communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with BigQuery, data warehousing, data visualization, or dashboard tooling.
