Principal Engineer - GTM Data Platform (Golang/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas; offer-stage candidates may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Own GTM-facing software and data products, including the underlying data foundation and account-action signals.
• Design and implement features using Go, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Build and operate production services on hirify.global Workers and Kubernetes.
• Own Query Engine, Workflows, MCP/APIs, and other internal data products and services.
• Drive cross-functional projects from design and schema changes through testing, deployment, monitoring, and adoption.
• Participate in on-call rotations, resolve incidents, write postmortems, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of complex organization-wide data initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and production infrastructure at scale, with proficiency in Go and strong working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Strong analytical SQL and data-modeling experience, including managing complexity across thousands of tables.
• Ability to debug database and query performance issues using profiling tools and source code where applicable.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces and lead initiatives from conception through adoption.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Principal Engineer, Staff+ engineer, or technical leadership experience on platform, infrastructure, or GTM-enablement teams.
• Columnar/OLAP or lakehouse experience with technologies such as ClickHouse, DuckDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, Iceberg, or StarRocks.
• Salesforce data model and CRM/API integration experience.
• Bare-metal, Kubernetes, hirify.global Workers, edge-platform, or dbt workflow experience.
• Experience with SaaS or product-led growth GTM motions.
