Cyber Security Risk Analyst (Healthcare Insurance)

hirify.global is recruiting for a healthcare insurance organization seeking cybersecurity risk management expertise.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance companywide information security best practices.
• Research information security improvements and brief management on recommendations.
• Monitor information security trends and emerging cyber threats.
• Assess, plan, and execute layered security measures to protect organizational data.
• Assess, document, and communicate cybersecurity risks related to inappropriate access, disclosure, or damage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with a focus on risk management.
• Strong understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and information security risk management methodologies, including the FAIR quantitative model.
• Ability to develop and communicate security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI security standards, cybersecurity risk management techniques, network architecture, and firewall security.
• Understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering prompt, efficient, high-quality service.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance programs and platforms such as Hyperproof, Archer, or ServiceNow GRC.
• Cybersecurity-related certification.
• SOC reporting or HITRUST knowledge.
• Experience with off-premises cloud platforms.
• Healthcare insurance or payer industry experience.
• Experience conducting AI risk assessments.
