Branch Operations - Fleet Manager (Fleet Operations)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a Fleet Analyst responsible for daily fleet operations and service delivery.
• Own fleet strategy, including policy, spend control, lifecycle management, fleet size, utilization, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with branches, safety, risk management, human resources, legal, fleet partners, leasing companies, and service vendors.
• Oversee vehicle assignments, reallocations, ordering, replacements, asset updates, GPS activations, and telematics management.
• Manage vendor performance, service-level expectations, escalations, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Drive compliance, reporting, KPI analysis, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across fleet operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, transportation management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience leading people or providing functional oversight, managing vendors and contracts, and setting performance expectations.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance, fleet software, GPS tracking, and telematics systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, prioritization, and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
