Customer Support Field Engineer (Avionics)

Location: Onsite in Arnavutkoy, Turkey; travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Provide onsite technical guidance and field assistance to airline customers and Panasonic personnel troubleshooting hardware, network, software, and avionics-system issues.
• Support new equipment installations, enhancements, modifications, wiring, and software integration while coordinating corrective actions with engineering departments.
• Investigate system operation, maintenance, reliability, and quality issues by collecting data, monitoring failure trends, and supporting recovery plans.
• Conduct operational, line, and maintenance training for airline customers and assist with aircraft delivery, flight testing, and customer flight acceptance.
• Prepare technical reports, communicate customer feedback, and coordinate engineering solutions and implementation of fixes.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field; 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 1 year of related experience in IT, electronics, avionics systems, software, or broadcast technology.
• Fluency in Turkish and strong proficiency in English are required.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, TCP/IP networks, troubleshooting methods, wiring schematics, aircraft documentation, and electronic test equipment.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems interfacing with Panasonic equipment and familiarity with FAA, CAA, and ATA avionics requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to pass airport-access security and background checks, willingness to work weekends or extended hours, and ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• MySQL database experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle.
