Data Analyst I (AI)

Location: New York City office in the Financial District; in-office work required three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Salary: $88,000–$110,000 per year, plus equity incentive eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and deliver client-facing reports across Garner’s data ecosystem from scoping through delivery.
• Partner with relationship managers and other client-facing stakeholders to answer business questions through robust analysis and presentations.
• Collaborate with data engineering to develop maintainable, scalable report automation.
• Develop domain expertise and independently generate meaningful insights from healthcare utilization and product engagement data.
• Identify reporting gaps and create new analyses that address client and prospect needs.
• Investigate complex, high-stakes business questions and improve visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication practices.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a similar data-centric role.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and own reporting projects end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse and SQL at scale.
• Comfort using AI agents to build analytics and dashboards and validate results.
• Must be able to work from the New York City office three days per week; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt.
• Experience building automated reports, dashboards, or scalable analytics solutions.
