AI Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Fully remote

Salary: $73,500–$82,100 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, scorecards, reports, semantic models, data marts, and reporting datasets.
• Develop KPIs, metrics, executive reporting, and reusable self-service analytics resources with business stakeholders.
• Design and deploy AI agents, Copilot solutions, and generative AI workflows using Copilot Studio, Claude, Azure AI, OpenAI services, or custom solutions.
• Build secure integrations, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and optimized SQL queries across applications, databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Implement data governance, metadata, data quality standards, role-based security, access controls, and responsible AI practices.
• Advise business leaders, facilitate workshops, provide technical guidance, and create documentation and training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience developing business intelligence, analytics, or data solutions.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI services, or similar AI technologies.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, reporting, data integration, ETL/ELT, governance, information security, privacy, and responsible AI.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Freshservice, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI agents.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications or the ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language.
