Community Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area, with 3 days per week in the office

hirify.global is an early-stage ambient AI startup developing an AI-powered product with distributed hardware and supply-chain operations.

What you will do

• Build and nurture an active community across Discord, X, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
• Design and test recognition systems, referral programs, and early-access tiers to turn power users into advocates.
• Mobilize the community around product launches, user research initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
• Collect and synthesize community feedback into actionable insights for product and R&D teams.
• Plan and coordinate in-person community events and activations.
• Collaborate with distributed hardware and supply-chain teams across time zones and define the community function independently.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and scaling an online community for a B2C or prosumer product.
• Demonstrated experience designing community mechanics that improve engagement or retention and convert power users into advocates.
• Experience coordinating campaigns across Growth, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Hands-on experience managing Discord, Reddit, X/Twitter, or similar platforms, including moderation, engagement strategy, and feedback collection.
• Experience translating user feedback into product insights and measuring community impact on engagement or retention.
• Availability to work in the San Francisco Bay Area in a hybrid format; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Mandarin fluency or another multilingual capability.
• Experience coordinating in-person community events or activations.
