Testing Manager (Accessibility)

Location: Fully remote; residency in the State of California required. Relocation assistance is unavailable.

Salary: $70,304–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee evaluations of equipment, services, and programs for public sector entities.
• Manage testing staff, set expectations, coach testers, and build aligned performance goals.
• Lead manual and automated accessibility testing across web, mobile, and assistive technology environments.
• Ensure conformance with WCAG guidelines, Section 508 standards, and inclusive design practices.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships and serve as the primary contact for testing partners.
• Prepare reports covering testing activities, accessibility findings, statistics, and quality assurance data.

Requirements

• At least three years within the past ten years managing evaluations of equipment, services, or programs for public sector entities.
• At least one year drafting evaluation or assessment reports for non-technical audiences.
• One to three years of experience testing and evaluating accessibility.
• Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools including Axe, NVDA, WAVE, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, ANDI, and Color Contrast Analyzer.
• Knowledge and experience with WCAG 2.1, WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and other accessibility standards.
• Residency in California is required.

Nice to have

• IAAP CPACC, WAS, or an equivalent accessibility certification.
• Ability to communicate using American Sign Language.
