Fortinet Network Security Engineer

Location: On-site in Plano, Frisco, Allen, Richardson, Fort Worth, or Lewisville, Texas, United States

What you will do

• Own day-to-day enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a regulated financial services environment.
• Develop audit-ready methods of procedure for migrations, upgrades, and releases.
• Test new Fortinet features and releases before production deployment.
• Evaluate third-party device compatibility with Fortinet infrastructure.
• Train client staff and identify issues before they affect production.

Requirements

• 7+ years of LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, or administration experience.
• 5+ years working with network security products, including 2+ years of hands-on Fortinet experience.
• Strong FortiGate firewall expertise and Fortinet SD-WAN design experience across global, multi-site architectures.
• ADVPN experience.
• Experience operating in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Two to three Fortinet certifications, ideally on the EPSP track.
• Professional services or consulting engineer experience.
• Experience with switching, routing, load balancing, WiFi, IPS, VPN, antivirus and antispam, web filtering, and application control.
