Global Network Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Crane Aerospace & Electronics develops aerospace and electronic systems and operates a global information security program.

What you will do

• Review network and security controls across enterprise technologies and support policy compliance.
• Implement and administer firewalls, network sensors, and network-based preventive and detective controls.
• Maintain configurations, change management, risk identification, and network security posture across global environments.
• Modernize security controls for cloud, SaaS, and on-premises networks, including SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, and NAC.
• Support global incident response, security operations, data governance, risk compliance, reporting, and metrics.
• Coordinate with business units, technology managers, and distributed engineering teams on projects, procedures, and data protection.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant network security experience.
• Experience with multiple firewall providers, network monitoring, and network-anomaly detection technologies.
• Experience evaluating and delivering SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, and NAC technologies.
• Strong project management, delivery, prioritization, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Related degree or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must qualify as a US Person under EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as GCFW, GPPA, CCNP, or similar.
• Experience mentoring business-unit technology counterparts.
