Chief of Staff - CFO (AI Security)

Location: Remote - USA

Base salary: $202,700–$291,500 USD, plus potential bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Run the CFO and strategy team's cross-functional strategic programs, including scope, milestones, owners, weekly cadence, executive status reporting, and early blocker escalation.
• Own a scale and controls program across eight functional areas, including Accounting, controls, IT, cybersecurity, and People, coordinating external auditors and legal counsel.
• Run Finance goal-setting, check-ins, progress reporting, and commitment tracking across the CFO's direct reports.
• Lead Finance AI adoption, build practical tools for workflows such as performance review drafting, talent review intake, and action-item tracking, and measure hours saved and active users.
• Run Finance talent reviews, pulse surveys, team learning, and ESG engagement while owning the framework for where Abnormal can sell, transact, and hire.
• Deliver weekly executive program status, make commitment slippage visible early, and improve quarterly AI adoption in Finance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Chief of Staff, program management, strategy and operations, or consulting, ideally including Finance exposure or experience at a late-stage, high-growth SaaS company.
• Demonstrated success running multi-stakeholder programs with hard deadlines, such as audits, systems implementations, or compliance efforts.
• Ability to turn ambiguity into owners and dates and start programs from a blank page.
• Strong writing and executive presence, with the ability to represent the CFO in leadership settings.
• Ability to push for dates and hold senior stakeholders accountable to commitments.
• Experience using AI to change how work gets done and ability to demonstrate something built.

• MBA or equivalent experience.
• AI or cybersecurity SaaS experience.
• Experience with Finance talent and culture programs.
