Customer Service Representative

What you will do

• Respond to domestic and international customer inquiries by phone, email, and efax, providing order assistance and product information.
• Manage the full order cycle, including quotes, order entry in the ERP system, fulfillment coordination, product availability checks, and Pro-Forma Invoices.
• Coordinate product movement and shipments with Distribution and resolve claims, lost shipments, back-orders, damaged shipments, and other fulfillment issues.
• Verify compliance with US export regulations, economic sanctions, and applicable EPA requirements.
• Document customer feedback and complaints in Oracle ERP, identify customer-experience trends, and support training documents and service initiatives.
• Assist with USP Webstore registration, order issues, and translation or review of translated documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of customer service, Order to Cash, or related experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Contact center experience in a B2B or B2C environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed, including a night shift starting at 10 PM, and type at least 40 words per minute.

Nice to have

• Foreign-language proficiency in French, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, German, Italian, Chinese, or Arabic.
• Oracle ERP knowledge, Salesforce experience, or familiarity with Ariba and other EDI processes.
• Experience with imports, exports, customs, international business, or the pharmaceutical, life sciences, chemical, or analytical instrumentation sectors.
