What you will do

• Calculate and provide accurate cost estimates for scheduled procedures based on insurance and historical data.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage levels for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
• Submit prior authorizations and secure pre-certifications with accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate financial liability to patients and discuss payment options or financial counseling.
• Process patient payments over the phone while maintaining strict HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Research and resolve patient inquiries across multiple practice management systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be within 30 miles of Chesterfield office for hybrid option or remote eligibility.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Compliance with strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
