Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Partner with account executives to lead technical discovery and evaluations with AI, CTO, and architecture stakeholders.
• Design and build custom prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference architectures for enterprise AI actions.
• Translate infrastructure, middleware, API, and agentic AI concepts into clear customer solutions.
• Provide technical feedback to Product and Engineering and create prototypes or fixes that unblock customer deployments.
• Navigate complex technical hurdles in deal cycles ranging from $200K to seven figures.
• Advise customers on LLM orchestration, autonomous agent frameworks, tool-calling, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical consultant selling technical infrastructure.
• Strong integration and systems architecture experience across iPaaS, ETL/ELT, RPA, API gateways, or service mesh technologies.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Ability to understand business needs, communicate with executive buyers, and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to present at conferences and create technical content or blog posts.
• Active use of AI and strong interest in agentic AI systems.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI agents with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• Production experience with backend microservices and distributed systems.
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, delegated authorization, and identity systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, service meshes, AWS, GCP, Azure, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in data science, ML engineering, or applied AI/ML.
