Site Reliability Engineer Technical Lead (Kubernetes)

Location: New Albany, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Ensure the operational excellence, reliability, and scalability of critical production systems.
• Apply SRE principles to enterprise-level systems across cloud platforms, microservices, and Kubernetes-based container environments.
• Build and maintain automation, internal tooling, and self-healing systems that eliminate manual operational work.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ELK Stack.
• Lead incident response from a technical perspective and optimize system performance.
• Analyze system metrics to identify issues and support performance tuning and capacity planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience, including significant experience in a senior-level SRE or similar role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in SRE principles and enterprise system reliability and scalability.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write and implement automation code, including Python, and build internal infrastructure and operations tools.
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, observability, and system analysis.
• Must be able to work onsite in New Albany, NY; direct W2 employment. New H-1B visa petitions are not sponsored.
