Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Oakland, California office, with two days in the office each week.

Salary: $232,338–$290,422 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own the performance, reliability, growth, and stability of production infrastructure.
• Monitor availability, capacity, and throughput, and evolve systems to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, support, and sales engineering teams.
• Coordinate the prioritization and resolution of critical bugs and operational issues.
• Automate scalable artifact deployment across all environments.
• Monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and remediate them with the security team.

Requirements

• Expertise with managed Kubernetes, including EKS, AKS, and GKE.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi, and ArgoCD.
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Expertise in Linux internals and administration.
• Experience with cloud networking, including VPNs, PrivateLink, and Private Service Connect.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java or Go.
