Speech Language Pathologist Provider, Part Time Days (20/hrs. wk)

Location: Outpatient Oakbrook Rehab Clinic, Oakbrook, Illinois; onsite, part-time days, 2–3 days per week from Monday through Friday, including two evenings until 7:00 p.m.

Salary: USD 43.64–54.55 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct speech-language pathology care and manage patient plans of care from initial contact through discharge.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, treatment interventions, and treatment-plan adjustments according to department protocols.
• Document daily treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with speech therapy assistants, physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and contribute to committees, process improvement, departmental projects, and clinical education.
• Maintain productivity standards, complete required training, and flex schedules or assignments to meet patient-care needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Speech Pathologist license in the State of Illinois required.
• Outpatient experience required.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, including two evening shifts until 7:00 p.m.

Nice to have

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility after completing the clinical fellowship year.
