Journeyman Electrician (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, or Southaven, Mississippi, with extensive travel to active construction sites

What you will do

• Install, terminate, test, and commission electrical systems including duct banks, conduits, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, busways, and grounding.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems across active sites.
• Perform point-to-point checks, functional testing, megger testing, and system energization.
• Read electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and operations teams to deliver construction projects safely and on schedule.
• Maintain as-builts, test records, and other project documentation while providing field feedback during constructability reviews.

Requirements

• Journeyman and/or Master Electrician experience in industrial, data-center, or comparable electrical environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems at 480V or above; medium- and high-voltage experience is preferred.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, meggers, and power quality analyzers.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, LOTO, arc flash, and site safety requirements.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, work with PPE, and perform hands-on work in industrial environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, mobilize between project locations, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and extended commissioning shifts.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale data-center power infrastructure, redundant UPS systems, generators, and busways.
• Experience on large-scale, multi-site construction projects requiring frequent travel.
• Current OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training.
• Knowledge of PLCs, controls, SCADA, or variable frequency drives.
