PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop PeopleSoft customizations with Application Designer, including pages, components, records, fields, and PeopleCode.
• Build Application Engine programs, data conversions, ETL-style workloads, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker services, and File Layout integrations.
• Develop and optimize SQR, BI Publisher, and nVision reports, including complex layouts and SQL performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain Approval Workflow Engine configurations and notifications.
• Translate business requirements into clean technical designs through fit-gap analysis and collaboration with functional consultants.
• Lead testing, UAT and hypercare defect resolution, post-go-live support, documentation, and mentoring of junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft technical development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.
• Experience with SQR, BI Publisher, SQL, and the PeopleSoft data model.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions, as well as upgrades, patches, and Approval Workflow Engine.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP or Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Exposure to Fluid UI development and Oracle DBA fundamentals.
