SAP Security Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate security and access-control frameworks for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, and SuccessFactors landscapes.
• Design SAP roles and authorization models and manage user provisioning.
• Perform segregation-of-duties analysis and support audit remediation activities.
• Operate SAP GRC Access Control, including ARA, ARM, BRM, and EAM.
• Support SAP Process Control and SAP security audits.
• Partner with audit, compliance, and business teams to deliver secure and auditable SAP environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and hold U.S. citizenship, a Green Card, EAD, or transferable H-1B status.
• At least 5 years of SAP Security or GRC experience in enterprise landscapes; the posting also lists 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP authorization concepts, role design, and SAP GRC Access Control.
• Experience securing Fiori, BTP, and cloud SAP applications, plus familiarity with SAP IDM or third-party IGA tools.
• Working knowledge of SAP Process Control and regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GxP, and PCI.

Nice to have

• SAP Security or GRC certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity services, including IAS and IPS, and SCIM-based integrations.
• Familiarity with HANA security, analytic privileges, continuous controls monitoring, and SAP RISE or Grow security operating models.
