Machine Operator I (Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate and start up one or more lithium-ion battery cell production machines, including inspection and conveyance equipment.
• Monitor production processes and perform continuous image inspections and visual quality checks.
• Identify machine issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate quality or production concerns when needed.
• Move materials to the production floor and use barcode scanners for material handling.
• Maintain shift logs, quality-control records, required documentation, and a clean 6S work area.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
• Working-level English proficiency is required for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Basic education requirements: none; a high school diploma, GED, or two years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and Maintenance Technicians.
• Ability to work day and night shifts and wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face masks, or protective suits as applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, automation, or assembly environments.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and work with metric and standard measurement systems.
