Metrology Planner (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and support metrology technicians in calibration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of instruments and control systems.
• Maintain GMP-compliant operation of temperature, pressure, speed, level, conductivity, pH, chlorine, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity measurement systems.
• Plan and schedule calibration activities using IndySoft and SAP, including work orders, notifications, parts requests, and shutdown support.
• Coordinate calibration activities with end users, technicians, vendors, maintenance, engineering, HSE, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure work is prepared with required parts, standards, tools, permits, LOTO, site preparation, and area clearance.
• Provide or coordinate technical assistance and technician training, and respond to instrument emergencies.

Requirements

• At least eight years of experience in the instrument trade, pharmaceutical or industrial environments, or an equivalent combination of experience and education or military service.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of IndySoft, SAP, Microsoft Office, and iLearn.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating calibration, maintenance, or production activities.
• Understanding of instruments, controls, related systems, basic electrical control systems, basic electronics, and industrial safety programs including LOTO.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
• Understanding of vaccine manufacturing processes.
• ISA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
