What you will do
- Help clients adopt the latest version of MongoDB across a suite of applications.
- Develop and deliver valuable backend features using Java, MongoDB, and engineering best practices.
- Participate actively in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborative solution design.
- Design and support microservices with synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Build resilient containerized applications with high availability and failover capabilities.
- Guide less experienced developers and contribute across multidisciplinary client projects.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Java 8+; experience with Java 11, 14, 17, and OpenJDK is preferred.
- Commercial experience with Node or Python and willingness to upskill in additional technologies.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database, including NoSQL data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of Spring, especially Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Data.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with REST, queue- or topic-based communication, microservice architecture, unit tests, and integration tests; highly proficient spoken and written English is required for direct work with UK- and US-based clients.

- AI integration experience.

Hiring process
