Senior Data Analyst (E-commerce)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid with 60% onsite and 40% home office. An option is available to work abroad for 20 days in approved countries.

Salary: €69,500–€84,900 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and own scalable analytical datamarts using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards for KPI tracking and decision-making.
• Apply advanced analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical approaches, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and communicate actionable insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve dashboard performance, data models, reporting consolidation, data reliability, and self-service analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Several years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Senior Analyst, or Analytics Engineer in a complex data environment.
• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise focused on analytical quality and performance.
• Advanced experience with Tableau Desktop; Power BI knowledge is beneficial.
• Python experience for data analysis, automation, or advanced analytics.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as AWS Athena, SAP BW, Oracle, or comparable technologies, plus strong English communication skills.
