Senior AEM Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop AEM Sites components, templates, content fragments, workflows, and integrations.
• Build OSGi services, Sling models, servlets, Java backend logic, and front-end experiences using HTL and JavaScript.
• Implement headless and hybrid delivery with Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, edge delivery, and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Develop AEM Assets workflows, DAM customizations, and metadata schemas.
• Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Target, and external systems, including personalization and A/B testing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, optimize page performance and caching, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with content authors, designers, and product owners.

Requirements

• U.S.-based remote work and full-time direct W2 employment.
• At least five years of AEM development experience; the position listing also specifies eight or more years of overall experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, and HTL, with strong knowledge of AEM author, publish, and Dispatcher tiers.
• Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5, Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, headless delivery, modern JavaScript, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance-tuning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Adobe Certified AEM Developer credentials.
• Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Franklin/HLX.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform or multi-region and multi-brand AEM deployments.
• Experience integrating AEM with Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
