Sr. Accountant (Finance)

Salary: $67,000–$101,000 per year, plus cash incentives

What you will do

• Manage daily cash reporting, liquidity monitoring, wires, ACH transactions, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare sponsorship and content licensing invoices, maintain accounts receivable, and support revenue recognition under contractual terms and GAAP.
• Reconcile biweekly payroll and ensure accurate payroll entries in the general ledger.
• Support month-end close through accruals, reclassifications, balance sheet schedules, fixed asset accounting, depreciation, intercompany invoicing, and group consolidation reporting.
• Prepare audit documentation, respond to interim and year-end requests, and coordinate deliverables with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Process corporate card transactions, distributor billbacks, royalties, tax reports, special accounting projects, and provide guidance to Staff Accountants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, initiative, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours and weekends during quarter-end and year-end close periods.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience or CPA certification.
• SAP knowledge.
