SAP Data Migration Engineer (SAP)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, execute, and support large-scale data migration initiatives in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Manage the full migration lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Use SAP LTMC, SLT, LVM, and S/4HANA migration tools to move enterprise data from legacy systems.
• Partner with functional teams, business owners, and infrastructure stakeholders throughout migration phases.
• Support accurate, complete, compliant, and well-documented migration outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of SAP data migration experience; the position listing specifies six or more years of overall experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP LTMC, S/4HANA migration tools, SAP SLT replication scenarios, and SAP LVM.
• Strong understanding of SAP master and transactional data structures, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms.
• Experience with high-volume, multi-source data migrations.
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA database structures.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
