Director, Technical Program Management

Location: Remote role listed for Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; or Portland, Oregon, USA

Salary: $193,000–$241,000 USD annual base pay, plus eligibility for a corporate bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead a team of technical program managers delivering complex efficiency and productivity initiatives against organizational OKRs.
• Manage, coach, and develop technical program managers while driving accountability and strengthening team capabilities.
• Act as a principal program manager on challenging finance-related programs and projects.
• Identify execution gaps and risks, make trade-off decisions, and drive progress through ambiguity.
• Build relationships with Directors, VPs, and cross-functional partners across sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and support to launch new capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, or equivalent education, in engineering and product delivery alongside engineering teams.
• 8+ years leading technical program management and/or engineering teams.
• Experience applying Kanban, Lean, SAFe, and Scrum program management methods at scale.
• Strong communication, executive presence, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Working technical proficiency with a deep understanding of the SDLC, engineering standards, and architectural risk management.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with financial and CRM systems, SaaS applications, and Jira.
• Experience in high-growth companies and cross-functional projects.
