Enterprise Test & Evaluation Engineer (SATCOM)

Location: On-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or El Segundo, California; travel to DoD and contractor test sites up to 25% per year.

Salary: $107,300–$134,100 in Colorado and $117,600–$146,900 in California.

What you will do

• Develop T&E strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, evaluation frameworks, requirement verification plans, test objectives, methodologies, and evaluation criteria.
• Collect, review, analyze, and report test and evaluation data.
• Support implementation of a common T&E database and a DoD-compliant deficiency reporting and resolution system.
• Lead and execute multifaceted test activities, including scheduling oversight and LDTO-led test events.
• Assess program test activities, identify mission implementation gaps and risks, and prepare briefings for Integrated Test Teams.
• Support T&E reviews, audits, IPTs, DRBs, MIPRBs, and TIMs with military and DoD civilian stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required for consideration.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience with DoD/USAF test and evaluation processes and documentation.
• At least 2 years of experience leading multifaceted tests and test project teams, including scheduling oversight.
• Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Top Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of test and evaluation experience with SATCOM systems.
• At least 7 years of systems engineering experience.
• INCOSE CSEP or ESEP certification.
