Field Credit Officer (North East)

Location: Onsite in Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, or Yobe, Nigeria. Candidates must be resident in the assigned state and relevant regional districts.

What you will do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses within the assigned geographical area.
• Engage customers to encourage effective use of hirify.global business accounts and eligibility for credit.
• Review, analyze, and approve or decline loan requests using available business and credit data.
• Visit borrowers’ business premises to evaluate records, inventory, and turnover.
• Grow and manage a profitable loan portfolio while monitoring repayment performance and minimizing defaults.
• Provide credit-related recommendations to management before, during, and after loan disbursement.

Requirements

• Minimum OND in a business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience selling credit products at a financial institution.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and simple or complex analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be resident in Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, or Yobe, including the specified northern and southern districts.
