Machinist Operator L5 (Shift C)

What you will do

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing machinery within established procedures, specifications, and environmental and safety regulations.
• Monitor equipment and electromechanical control panels, perform adjustments and repairs, and report conditions that may affect performance.
• Supply materials, inspect, package, and document materials and finished products according to plant procedures.
• Perform code-change setups and routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, including cleaning, greasing, lubrication, and scheduled PMs.
• Record production parameters, lots, output, scrap, downtime, and setup time using manual and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with Automation, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent studies in mechanics, electronics, die making, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience with mechanics, electronics, die making, or automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
• Knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Ability to prioritize work, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify process deviations, stop machinery when necessary, and work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects requiring medium physical exertion of up to 50 pounds occasionally.
