Field Credit Officer (Fintech)

Location: Onsite in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, or Imo, Nigeria. Candidates must be resident in an assigned location and indicate their preferred location on their CV.

What you will do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses within the assigned geographical area.
• Engage customers to increase business account usage and eligibility for credit.
• Review and approve or decline loan requests using available business and financial data.
• Visit potential borrowers at their business premises to assess records, inventory, and turnover.
• Grow gross loan portfolio and profit targets while maintaining performing loans and minimizing defaults.
• Monitor active loan portfolios, account usage, and repayment performance.

Requirements

• Minimum OND in a business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and simple and complex analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be resident in an assigned area of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, or Imo, Nigeria.
