Attorney / Lawyer (Corporate, Contracts & Compliance) – Remote | U.S. Hours

Location: Remote from Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil; working hours aligned with U.S. client business hours. An active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required.

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking business-focused legal support across corporate, commercial, compliance, and legal operations matters.

What you will do

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, employment agreements, leases, and other commercial contracts.
• Identify contractual risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support leadership during negotiations.
• Research laws, regulations, and case law and translate complex legal issues into actionable business guidance.
• Maintain corporate governance documents, resolutions, filings, legal records, and compliance documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance, disputes, litigation coordination, outside counsel relationships, and legal deadlines.
• Improve contract databases, templates, legal workflows, and matter-management processes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of legal practice experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience providing legal and compliance guidance, with strong corporate and commercial law knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and availability during U.S. client business hours.

Nice to have

• In-house counsel experience or international and multi-jurisdictional legal exposure.
• Experience with corporate law, employment law, SaaS or technology, regulatory compliance, real estate, or commercial transactions.
• Experience supporting startups or high-growth businesses.
• Familiarity with legal operations, contract management, and document management systems.
• Experience with tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Practical Law, Clio, MyCase, or PracticePanther.
