Legal Analyst, Security

Location: Remote – United States

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Conduct document reviews and legal analysis across company systems and data repositories.
• Investigate policy violations, insider threats, data loss, and operational disruption using tools such as Microsoft Purview.
• Manage compliance correspondence, notifications, records, archives, and determinations.
• Support e-discovery requests, workflow audits, large data-set management, and ad hoc investigations.
• Compile compliance reports, maintain the knowledge base, and present statistics through dashboards.
• Manage compliance support cases against SLAs and contribute to process improvements, projects, and special assignments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in legal or compliance roles involving data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Legal studies, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage large volumes of data, maintain attention to detail, and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with IP legal matters and e-discovery is preferred, including Nuix and Purview Content Search.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft, JDE, Siebel, or EBS.

Nice to have

• Experience with Nuix Adaptive, Nuix Automate, Nuix Investigate, Microsoft DLP tools, Druva, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and VBA.
• Experience designing workflows, drafting document review reports, performing factual research, and educating users on compliance policies.
