Senior Interior Designer (3D, Furniture & Product Design)

Location: Bay Harbor Islands, FL, United States. On-site, salaried, full-time role.

What you will do

• Develop interior concepts through rapid, iterative 3D modeling, exploring spatial layouts, furniture arrangements, proportions, materials, and design alternatives.
• Design across multiple scales, from amenity environments to furniture, built-in banquettes, millwork, lighting elements, and other custom features.
• Produce 3D and 2D design materials, including spatial models, furniture studies, plans, elevations, material studies, presentations, and design documentation.
• Explore materials, finishes, fabrics, colors, and construction approaches, translating design intent into practical interior and furniture applications.
• Collaborate with the Head of Interior Design, creative, technical, procurement, architecture, and construction teams to develop options and transition approved concepts into implementation.
• Work with manufacturers, fabricators, and vendors on custom pieces, prototypes, production-ready solutions, and the evolution of the furniture collection and FF&E language.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of professional experience across interior design, furniture design, product design, architecture, hospitality, or related creative disciplines.
• Portfolio demonstrating interior environments, furniture and/or product design, custom elements, and sophisticated spatial thinking.
• Exceptional 3D modeling capabilities, with the ability to model quickly and use 3D as part of the everyday design and discovery process.
• Strong proficiency in relevant 3D modeling and visualization software, moving from rough studies to refined design representations.
• Strong 2D capabilities and understanding of plans, elevations, dimensions, detailing, and the transition toward technical documentation.
• Experience designing custom furniture, built-in banquettes, millwork, casegoods, tables, seating, or other interior elements, with an understanding of materials and fabrication.
• Strong FF&E knowledge and understanding of furniture scale, proportion, composition, comfort, and spatial experience.
• Deep sensitivity to wood, stone, metal, upholstery, fabrics, finishes, and their role in the emotional experience of a space.
• Comfort working at speed, exploring multiple options, iterating, and moving from inspiration to sketch, model, and producible design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative and technical disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
