Senior Director - Collective Investment Fund Operations

Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ or Denver, Colorado

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

hirify.global is hiring for a leadership role supporting Collective Investment Trust and Collective Investment Fund operations.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end daily operations for a suite of Collective Investment Trusts and Collective Investment Funds, including NAV support, fund accounting oversight, capital activity, trade review, confirmation, and settlement.
• Oversee onboarding for new clients, funds, sub-advisors, and platforms, including CUSIP requests, NSCC trading setup, and trading platform agreements.
• Manage service levels and relationships with custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, trustees, and sub-advisors.
• Support annual audits, financial statement preparation and review, and Form 5500 reporting.
• Monitor fund metrics such as performance returns, expense ratios, and turnover calculations while serving as a senior escalation point.
• Lead process improvement, automation, risk-control enhancements, and the development of operations staff.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in asset management, trust administration, investment fund operations, or fund accounting, including direct experience with CITs/CIFs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of fund accounting, pooled vehicle operations, NAV support, and CIT/CIF operating models.
• Experience with audits, financial statements, transfer agency operations, onboarding, and trade settlement.
• Knowledge of ERISA operational requirements and familiarity with DOL, IRS, and fiduciary governance frameworks.
• Leadership experience managing operational teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Nice to have

• Experience with MFACT.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Access and advanced Excel skills.
• CFA, CAIA, CPA, or an advanced degree.
• Experience supporting product launches, new fund structures, retirement-focused investment vehicles, or alternative strategies.
