Managing Director - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Fund Administration)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 annually, dependent on experience and location

What you will do

• Support client leads across multiple private equity funds and ensure deliverables align with limited partnership agreements and client expectations.
• Manage and review journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls and distributions, fee calculations, carried interest, and waterfall models.
• Oversee financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and investor notices.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax teams during year-end processes.
• Improve operational processes, handle client requests, and prioritize work under tight deadlines.
• Train and mentor junior team members while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, alternative asset investment, or a combination of these areas.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in accounting and administration for alternative investment funds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Detail-oriented approach, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong client-service skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran.
