Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor, Illinois)

Location: Illinois, United States; providers are sought in Crestwood, Peoria, Quincy, Springfield, Danville, Fairfield, Flora, Jacksonville, Macomb, Salem, and Vandalia. In-person care through a private or group practice is strongly preferred, and office space in the Illinois area is required. Applicants must be full-time residents of the United States.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe conditions.
• Apply treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to crises when needed.
• Deliver care in person through a private or group practice and/or virtually.
• Use Lyra’s provider platform, scheduling, billing, and client-matching tools.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent independent license, without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments and clinical best practices, including measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Office space in Illinois and full-time United States residency are required.
