TL;DR
Freight Data Analyst (Supply Chain Analytics): Analyzing freight performance, carrier costs, settlement reports, and logistics data to identify savings and improve worldwide supply chain efficiency with an accent on cost validation, service-level analysis, and actionable metrics. Focus on building scalable cost-control processes, identifying shipment consolidation opportunities, and developing corrective action plans across logistics and manufacturing partners.

What you will do
- Review air freight forwarder service levels, transit-time performance, and missed performance goals.
- Analyze freight invoices, carrier data, and EMS partner settlement reports to validate billed logistics costs.
- Identify, validate, and implement freight cost-saving opportunities with auditors, carriers, and EMS partners.
- Normalize logistics data, monitor partner volumes and activity trends, and develop global operational metrics.
- Create cost analyses and recommendations to optimize COGS and improve logistics cost efficiency.
- Identify shipment consolidation and account-management improvements while collaborating with logistics, operations, engineering, IT, finance, and trade compliance teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of combined experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or manufacturing finance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to transform data into insights, build and maintain complex models, simplify processes, and present recommendations to senior management.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and AI tools such as Copilot.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with hardware-product supply chains, logistics terminology, and contract manufacturing practices is highly desirable.

- MBA.
- Experience with Power Query M formula language.
